The past few months have been filled with many personal and professional changes. And the world we all know has changed as well. Keep an eye on this space - I'll be back soon with details.
This summer kicked off with an amazing concert on the most beautiful and famous Leiden canal, The Rapenburg. I had the sublime pleasure of singing the duet Tell Him, with the incredibly beautiful and talented Gerlinde Vliegenhart accompanied by the wonderful Sempre Crescendo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Guido Marchena. The concert was hosted by student vereniging Minerva celebrating its 205 year lustrum (anniversary).
What journey are you on? What do you consider home? On June 9, 2019 I will sing the the song Pelgrimsgebed by Amanda Strydom at the Pinksterpelgrimreis service at the Hoogelandse Kerk, Leiden accompanied by Willeke Smits.
Social, Rolling and Noteworthy describe my months of March and April. The Gainbridge Tulip commercial I worked on started airing nationally in the US and online mid- March. Beautifully filmed and directed by Peter Thwaites, it's about the Tulip Fever in the Netherlands in the 1630's.
Dear Reader, Hello! Oh, What a joy it is to sing with the K&G3 orchestra conducted by René Leckie. In February we performed at the 70th Birthday celebration of Ruud Breedveld at the historical Hooglandse kerk in Leiden.
Happy Valentines Day month! Is that a thing? My little one has been putting heart stickers everywhere, which I quite like, as it reminds me to keep on lovin'.

Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. Back to school. Warm colors.
Summer has come and is almost gone. Mine included laughter, a combi of work & relaxation, super hot weather and spontaneity! It started out with laughter at the 25 year celebration performance of Boom Chicago at Carre' Theatre, Amsterdam with a red carpet double header starring Seth Meyers and Boom Chicago & friends. It was a wonderful night and I am so glad I got to go and support my insanely talented friends Michael Diederich, Rob AndristPlourde ...
What does bravery look like to you? Earlier this year I wrote down that I was going to get new headshots, build my home studio and make the leap to record audiobooks. Well, it all happened at the same time, which I thought was a little brave to embark upon, and then I read the book "The Best Girl" by Joan Hicks Boone which is a true example of bravery.
