It's a small world after all... I bought a world atlas book for my daughter recently on her fourth Birthday. It's meant for her age group but I find it pretty darned cool and truly enjoy sharing adventures of world travel and the idea of future adventures as well. It thrills me to have had the opportunities of late to have my work seen internationally, to perform internationally, and meet, interact with and learn from people from other countries.
In August, I had the pleasure of traveling to Belgium with the Band of Liberation (BOL) to sing for a sold out crowd in the International Military Tattoo 'The long road to Passchendaele', It was a beautiful night of music honoring the soldiers of WWI and there were oh so many bagpipes !

September, I had some auditions for exciting international projects and one of which was a major motion picture. I had to do a self tape audition from my home and send it to my agent in England. It went super but I knew it could go better technically which led me to take casting director, Manuel Puro's, 21 day self- tape challenge course. It's 21days. Straight. You receive the monologues/ scenes every night at 7:00 pm online and have to turn them in online by the next day 7:00pm. It was amazing to do as it taught me to be even more prepared technically. Acting wise, it honed in on my memorization and character techniques, and how to limit stress of turning around a quality audition in a short time. In addition to receiving and giving constructive support, I had the pleasure of watching the work of other extremely talented actors from around the world. Thanks, Manuel Puro, for this for this great class and opportunity. I highly recommend it.

End of September - mid October we travelled to the USA to attend my nieces wedding and see family which included a road trip in the car from Michigan to Tennessee down I-75! It was a whirlwind with much quality time spent and now we are back finding our rhythm. I get to show my daughter the world in books and luckily also with travel but our home in Leiden is also a nice part of this planet. We were recently featured on the front page of the local paper, Stadskrant, enjoying our little green spot on our street on this earth together.
Wishing you all wonderful days in your world!
See you 'round!
